Summer is here!
There was a constant boat parade in front of our house the past 3 days
People celebrating and flags flying!
We kicked off the weekend with Pineapple Teriyaki BBQ Chicken and Bacon Kebabs
This recipe is a crowd pleaser and very family friendly
Marinate the chicken in a combo of pineapple juice, soy sauce, dry onion soup mix, and sesame oil
Send the kids off in the boat and enjoy some porch time
They love to get out in the crazy boat traffic, I prefer boating on quieter days…but I do enjoy watching it from the porch, not to mention getting a little peace and quiet!
Load the kebab skewers with alternating chicken, pineapple and bacon pieces
Sprinkle with salt & pepper or your favorite grill seasoning
Uh oh, they’re back…
HHjr is the grillmaster around here
He said he cooked these over a medium high heat for about 20 minutes
Everyone’s grill is different
and time will vary due to size of chicken pieces
so this is just a guideline
During the last 5 minutes, baste with your favorite BBQ sauce
We all lapped these up
Even HHjr kept saying how good these kebabs are
We will be making these all summer
Note: if you’re lucky enough to have some leftovers,
they would make a killer pizza topping, wrap filling or salad topping!
